Privacy POLICY

Effective date: April 2025

This Privacy Policy outlines how I collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit my website, make an enquiry, or work with me as a client. I am committed to handling your personal data responsibly, in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who I Am

This website is operated by Simona Venckute, a registered and insured naturopathic nutritionist practising under Cute Clinic. I offer nutritional therapy services in accordance with the professional and ethical guidelines set by my accrediting body. If you have any questions about how your personal information is handled, you can contact me at privacy@cuteclinic.co.uk.

The Information I Collect

When you visit my website, make an enquiry, or become a client, I may collect and process a range of personal data. This includes your name, contact details and any information you provide via contact forms or consultation bookings. During the course of your care, I may also collect sensitive health information such as your medical history, symptoms, medications, supplement use, test results, and lifestyle habits, to ensure that the nutritional support you receive is appropriate and tailored to your needs.

Website usage data, such as your IP address and pages visited, may also be collected through standard cookies and analytics tools to help me understand and improve how visitors interact with the site.

How Your Data Is Used

Your personal data is used solely to deliver an effective, safe, and personalised nutrition service. This includes booking and managing appointments, keeping accurate clinical notes, preparing tailored nutrition plans, and communicating with you about your care. Where appropriate, I may use anonymised data for practice audits or to evaluate outcomes, but you will never be personally identifiable in such instances.

If you subscribe to updates or newsletters, your contact details will also be used to send relevant information, with your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Legal Basis for Processing

Under data protection law, I am required to have a legal basis for collecting and using your personal data. When you engage my services, data is processed on the basis of legitimate interest and the fulfilment of a contract. Sensitive health information is processed with your explicit consent, as part of delivering a professional healthcare service. I may also retain and process certain information in order to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, including financial record-keeping and insurance requirements.

Storage and Security

I store personal data securely, whether electronically on encrypted systems or, where required, in secure paper records. I take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss, or misuse of your data.

Your information will never be shared with third parties for marketing purposes. I will only share data with trusted service providers (such as cloud software or secure payment platforms) where necessary to deliver services, and only where these providers have confirmed compliance with relevant data protection legislation. In rare circumstances, I may be required by law to share data—for example, if there is a risk of serious harm or a safeguarding concern.

Retention of Data

In accordance with professional and legal obligations, I retain client records for a minimum of seven years from the date of your last consultation. After this period, your records will be securely deleted or destroyed unless there is a valid reason to retain them for longer. Enquiries that do not lead to a consultation will be deleted after 12 months, unless you request continued contact.

Your Rights

You have the right to access the personal data I hold about you, and to request corrections if any information is inaccurate or incomplete. You can also ask for certain data to be deleted, or for processing to be limited in specific circumstances—although in some cases, I may need to retain information to meet legal or regulatory requirements.

You have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing at any time, where consent is the lawful basis. If you wish to exercise any of these rights, please contact me directly. If you are not satisfied with the way your data is being handled, you can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
